Clarisse Riotor is a filmmaker, journalist, and editor fascinated with the psychology of interviewees, always seeking to uncover, before and during filming, what makes someone stand out.

Clarisse dives into the stories she captures via in-depth research and creative photographic choices, often in challenging situations. Over the years, she documented a hurricane in Florida, explored juvenile jails in Texas and Utah, as well as several maximum-security prisons in Louisiana, among other assignments.

Originally from Paris, France, Clarisse lived in Germany before establishing herself in New York in 2016. She’s been featured on Amazon Prime, Brut America, Arte TV, TF1, and France 5 among others.
